What we collect when you visit this site, why we collect it, and what we do with it. In plain English, because fine print is exhausting.
We collect the information you type into our contact form, plus basic technical data that any website receives when your browser loads a page. We use it to answer you and to understand how the site is performing. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers that help us run the site.
This policy describes how Brandish LLC, doing business as Pink Elephant Society (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles information collected through this website. It does not cover the websites we build, host, and maintain for our clients — each of those sites publishes its own privacy policy, and the business that owns the site is responsible for it.
When you fill out a form on this site or email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to send. That typically includes:
You do not have to give us any of this. But if you do not give us a way to reach you, we cannot reply.
Like nearly every website, ours receives certain technical information automatically when you visit. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you viewed and when, the page that referred you, and general location inferred from your IP address (typically city or region — not a street address).
We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages people find useful and where the site is slow or broken. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it.
We use only the cookies and local storage necessary to make the site work and to measure aggregate traffic. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third-party advertising networks to track you across other websites from here.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site is designed to work with cookies disabled, though some conveniences may not carry over between visits. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable law requires it.
We use the information described above to:
If we ever want to use your information for a materially different purpose, we will ask you first.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do share information in a small number of ordinary situations:
We keep inquiry and correspondence records for as long as we have an active or reasonably foreseeable relationship with you, and afterward for as long as we need them for our legitimate business records, tax obligations, or legal defense. Aggregate analytics data is retained in de-identified form. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.
You can email us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to request a correction, or to request deletion. You can also unsubscribe from any email we send using the link in that email, or by replying and asking.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation — including rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to appeal a decision we make about such a request. We honor these requests regardless of where you live rather than checking your jurisdiction first. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
This site is served over HTTPS, and we use reputable providers who maintain industry-standard safeguards. That said, no method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information — payment card numbers, government identifiers, passwords, health information — through our contact form.
This site is meant for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle information we already collected from you, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you directly.
